Curasept Tested In Randomised Clinical Trial

Published in Journal of Clinical Periodontology 2008; 35: 614-620, a crossover randomized, triple blind clinical trial showed that 0.2% curasept caused less pigmentation than the control chlorhexidine. In terms of treating inflamed gingiva, curasept with antidiscolouration was just as effective as the control chlorhexidine in the post surgical early healing phase. In addition, curasept was more tolerable, altered taste perception less and was less irritating to the oral tissues
